This past Monday I went to the ATT store down the street and dished out $300 for the new 16 gig iPhone 3G. Since the original iPhone’s release I have been interested in the potential of the platform. I have to admit the new lower price was nice, but what really won me over was the App Store.

After browsing the App Store I was convinced the iPhone was the way to go. There are tons of very useful applications that could quite possibly make my life a bit easier. From blogging and social networking to movie times and online radio, the App Store has it all. The best thing is that it will just keep getting better since new application will be constantly add and older ones updated. It is also nice to see that many of the useful application are free and the ones that that are paid apps are worth their price, for the most part.
From what I was told by ATT, I should be getting my phone in 2 to 4 weeks. I might just have to put a video review up, but I’m not sure. We’ll see.
